SONOMA STREET SESSIONS (2014-2020)
I have explored figure studies of friends in my San Francisco apartment since 2014. These are the only studio-sorts of work I do. They’re informal and improvisational. And they’re always the same set up: in my home, in the light of the day, whatever it is. No props, no cropping, no retouching.
The models are anonymous at their request, to protect their privacy, which aligns with my approach.
